I have been in my current job for 11 years, as a PA to Executive Chairman of small family owned aggregate company in Maidenhead, Berks. Our office is based on his property, a smallholding/farm. My role has been a mix of business and private duties, including organising travel; parties/events; expenses; collecting things/dry cleaning; dog to groomers/vet; miscellaneous tasks. I have keys to access his property as required if he is unavailable so a big degree of trust is required. I also assist two other Directors and 2-3 Site Manager/deputies. I part manage the office on a day to day basis in terms of ordering stationery/kitchen supplies and ensuring stocks levels are good. Due to the Executive Chairman's semi-retirement and advanced age (81), my role has quietened and I am looking to move on. Although my role is not a sole private household role, it has incorporated some, and I would like to move into a pure household role.
